(Senior) Project Manager (f/m/d) in Cologne/Berlin

We are Healex, a software start-up and consulting company from Cologne and Berlin, quickly becoming a leading digital health company. Our mission is to develop new products and solutions with your help for faster, data-driven clinical research and for the integration of health and research systems with the “FHIR” data standard.

Healex makes it possible to conduct clinical studies faster, more integrated and even more data-driven with structured clinical data and thereby speeding up the development of new therapies for fatal diseases.

With currently around 20 employees at our two locations, we are looking for one or more experienced (senior) project managers.

Your tasks at Healex

  • You will design and coordinate the implementation processes of our products at our customers' sites and create and maintain the implementation documents for various teams (including supervision of the implementation document register)
  • The responsibility for the independent calculation of the implementation project is in your hands
  • Further core tasks are the prioritization of implementation activities and their constant progress, up to the finished customer solution
  • You represent these solutions to customers and key stakeholders
  • You are part of the complex team and communicate the team status
  • You organize and conduct milestone reviews
  • You ensure that the project status is visible, transparent and clear
  • You coordinate approval measures

Your qualifications

  • You have already been involved in IT projects, e.g. setting up system landscapes, introducing software at company level or developing your own IT solutions, and feel you are a digitization driver. Alternatively, you have lived out your IT affinity outside of your professional career and gained relevant experience and knowledge.
  • Ideally, you have at least two years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, a CRO, CCC, research institute, university hospital or a digital health start-up as a project manager or project leader. We also welcome applications from experienced IT freelancers
  • You are familiar with common project management methods and processes, e.g. PMP, Scrum and Kanban, ideally supported by relevant certifications
  • You bring a lot of experience in working with developers and customers
  • You speak both English and German fluently
  • You are familiar with common project management tools (e.g. MS Project, Trello, Jira, Redmine)
  • A successfully completed degree in (business) informatics, economics or a comparable education is welcome, but not mandatory
  • Optionally, you are also familiar with the following technologies and topics:
    • Profound knowledge and methodological competence in business models, business plans and modern approaches (e.g. Business Model Canvas, Design Thinking, agile methods)
    • Clinical studies (phases I to IV and non-interventional studies), clinical research, pharmaceutical development, (clinical) site management including ICH GCP, applicable regulations and SOP
