Head of Sales in Cologne or Berlin

About us: We are Healex, a software start-up and consulting company from Cologne and Berlin, which is growing into the leading digital health company. Our mission is to use your help to develop new products and solutions for faster, data-driven clinical research, as well as for the integration of health and research systems with the “FHIR” data standard.

Healex enables clinical trials to be conducted faster, more networked and even more data-driven through structured clinical data, thereby developing innovative therapies for fatal diseases.

With currently over 40 employees at the two locations, we are looking for an experienced Head of Sales.

Your tasks at Healex

  • You identify and secure new customer leads and new business opportunities from various sectors such as hospitals, research networks, pharmaceuticals, health insurance companies and biotechnology. You are responsible for the entire sales cycle from qualified lead to closing a contract.
  • You take the initiative, sell our products and solutions and are a professional contact person for our customers. In doing so, you always keep our entire service and solution portfolio in mind.
  • You will define KPI and take on progress reporting as well as responsibility for recording the current status of all sales activities in the CRM and reporting tool (Pipedrive). You develop appropriate measures and actions in case of deviations from our goals.
  • You further develop our market overview in terms of market, competitors and potential.
  • You will serve as an interface between marketing, product managers and partners.
  • You further develop our business model by establishing relevant partnerships and cooperations in the healthcare sector.

Your qualifications

  • You are an active sales professional who enjoys structured customer care and development
  • You have a distinct hands-on mentality and you are constantly striving to evolve.
  • You have an existing network and profound knowledge of the German healthcare market and its players (e.g. hospitals, research organisations, pharmaceuticals, digital health start-ups) as well as one or more product segments (e.g. cancer research, infectiology or clinical applications and interfaces).
  • You have three or more years of sales experience (ideally in the health care sector, especially hospitals, health insurance companies, pharma or research).
  • You are fluent in German and English.
  • A successfully completed course of study in business administration with a focus on marketing / sales or other courses of study such as medicine, bioinformatics, pharmacy is welcome, but not mandatory. Career changers with relevant professional experience are also welcome.
